Armida’s is a well-established Mexican restaurant and karaoke lounge. The direction for this project was to stay close to the original design, which included an image of a woman cooking. The new color palette, typography and logo stays true to the brand and to Mexican food heritage, in general, while also delivering a more contemporary “look and feel.” A to-go bag was also concepted, which utilized the icon set to create a background pattern. The coolest part of this project is the coasters, featuring song quotes developed into unique typography treatment.
